Simple. Pure. Fast.

Three on the court.

3 players on the floor, 2 subs. That's it. Streetball is three against three. Nothing more, nothing less.

/ 02 - Duration
10'

Ten minutes or 21 points.

10 minutes on the clock or first team to 21. Whichever comes first ends the game.

/ 03 - Scoring
1·2

One point or two.

1 point inside the arc, 2 points beyond. No 3-pointers in streetball. That's the signature.

/ 04 - Court
½

Half court. One hoop.

One shared basket. Both teams attack the same rim. On every change of possession, take it back behind the arc. That's the check-ball.

/ 05 - Brackets

Two brackets, same money.

16 men's teams, 16 women's. Same format, same crown, same prize money. Strict parity.

KO

Single elimination.

One shot. No groups, no losers bracket, no rematch. Lose, you're out. Win, you move on. Back to basics.

From Rucker Park to Venice Beach, from Paris's 19th arrondissement to Créteil, from Finsbury Park to Canary Wharf, streetball is basketball played outdoors, where the spectacular wins over the rulebook, and where the game brings together far more than just players.

It's a movement. A culture. A family. From The Professor to Iverson, from unknown dunkers to street legends, they all started on a half-court, with a makeshift hoop and three friends.
